A LITTLE CLARITY
Good questions.
Straight answers.
Is the calculator a loan quote? +
No. It illustrates fixed-rate loan math using the numbers you enter. A personalized quote and Loan Estimate account for your situation, loan program, fees and current pricing.
Does the payment include taxes and insurance? +
The total includes the monthly taxes, home insurance, HOA and mortgage insurance you enter. Expand the monthly-cost fields to adjust them. These estimates can change over time.
How should I compare a refinance? +
Enter your current balance, current rate and remaining term as Option A, and the proposed loan as Option B. Compare the payment, closing costs and remaining balance together. A longer term may lower payments while increasing total interest.
Where do I send documents or apply? +
Use U.S. Bank’s secure application process or contact Ryan for instructions. This website does not accept documents, Social Security numbers, or loan applications.
